Get social in spring user competition 2020Conditions of Entry
1. The “Get social in spring user competition 2020”, (“Promotion”) is conducted by Friends of Mr Ed Pty Ltd ( ABN 95 621 936 007) based in the state of Victoria, Australia www.friendsofmred.com (“Promoter”).
2. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.
Promotional Dates
3. Promotion starts at 00:01 AEST on 21 September 2020 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 4 October 2020 (the “Promotional Period”).
Prize
4. The Prize is valued at $150:
a. one bottle of 700ml Founders Release gin by Turner Stillhouse b. delivery to one residential address within Australia
c. voucher for a complimentary private tour for two people of the Turner Stillhouse in Tasmania. Winner must make own travel arrangements and be sure to book well in advance to ensure tour availability at https://turnerstillhouse.com/experience/tours /
Eligibility
5. Entry into the Promotion is only open to Australian citizens and permanent residents (“Australian Residents”) aged 18 years and older as at the time of entry who remain Australian Residents for the duration of the Promotional Period (“Entrants”).
6. The directors, management and employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, its related entities, related bodies corporate or franchisees, printers, suppliers, providers, software providers and developers, and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter the Promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
7. Entrants must be or become registered members of the Fred iOS or Andriod App during the Promotional Period and remain registered members for the remaining duration of the Promotional Period.
8. All entries of Entrants who are aged less than 18 years who enter the Promotion while attempting to conceal (or without disclosing) their age (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. Persons who are aged less than 18 years old are ineligible to enter and participate in the Promotion. All entries and attempted prize redemptions of persons who are aged less than 18 years old will be deemed invalid.
How to Enter
9. To enter, an Entrant must
a. Be a registered user in the Fred app, connected to at least one horse that they own.
b. Have at least one person following their horse, via their profile, in the Fred App
10. The Promotion is deemed a Game of Skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights.
11. Entries will be judged at the Promoters office between Monday 5 October and Tuesday 6 October 2020 and one winner will be selected based on meeting all the eligibility criteria and be deemed the most creative, inspiring or entertaining.
Winner Notification
12. The winner’s will be contacted either by phone or email on Wednesday 7th October.
13. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 5 business days from Wednesday 7 October, and every effort has been made to contact them, then then prize will be forfeited by the winner and the runner up will be deemed the winner. This condition applies until a winner is successfully contacted and accepts the prize.
Winner Publication
14. The winner’s name will be published on the Promoters Website within 24 hours of the winner being contacted an accepting the prize.
General
15. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
16. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
17. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
18. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may anonymously use the entrant's submission on “Why You Love Racing” for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes.
